Come one, come all!

Posted by: typealice In: Daily

I have been blogging since 1999. For over six years I’ve documented my life, my daily goings-on to people I’ve never met. I can’t believe it’s been this long. My blogs have always been hosted on Diaryland, a place that was, at one time, a really wonderful community. I’m not sure if it’s because a lot of people grew out of blogging or if Diaryland just isn’t what it used to be. I think it’s the latter. Through too many server errors and deleting older blogs and not being able to write an entry when I really want to, I slowly stopped writing online.

Until now.

For the past few days I’ve been learning the glory that is WordPress, and voila, I have my very own blog on my website. I’ve gotten out of the habit of daily blogging, so it may be a slow process of getting back into the habit.

This was meant to be one of those obscenely boring First Entries of a new blog. I’ll get to the better stuff (an illustrated Key Lime Pie recipe, for example!) in the next couple of days while I still figure out this blog of mine. I need to figure out how to do a daily photo and somehow get rid of some of the options on this premade template.

So, welcome! Welcome to typealice does blogging.

  • Asheo: 3rd birthday is coming up really soon! So a few days early... Happy Birthday Ash!
  • April: I feel the blog revolt as well. I am not comfortable saying some of the things I would like to say with strangers, and I don't feel I'm able to mask
  • Stefanie: Hello, I have been a follower of yours since the BME days… and have always found your blog fascinating. This came across my blog today, and I though
