I guess, judging by the amount of people coming out of the woodwork asking me about the “Love at First Bite” article, people who I wasn’t sure was reading my blog and those who I didn’t even know existed, allow me to tell you:

For those of you who don’t know the background story at all, Clive and I met in Mexico eight months ago. Two weeks after meeting, we took part in that world-read article, forever marking us as “the two crazies who bit each other’s fingers off. Maybe.” The best part of the whole experience was seeing people’s reactions. Most people said they thought we were insane, and surprisingly, some people (especially those in the body modification community) really looked up to us and asked advice on how to do it.
Clive and I posed for the pictures, but weren’t actually interviewed. We approved the interview before it was published, made a few small changes to the way it was written so it sounded more like us in order to be believable, but other than that, it was all our boss, Shannon Larratt.
In conclusion, I still have all my fingers, and would never, ever bite or cut one of them off.
