New Years :(

Posted by: typealice In: BVI| Daily| I <3 Clive

Clive and I have no plans for New Years! We don’t have a car, friends, or money. We need suggestions for fun things to do at home when there’s just two people.

We’ve already thought of sex, so you can leave out that suggestion!

There will be fireworks at Bitter End that might be just visible from your place. The East End party is at Trellis Bay on Beef Island (just past the airport), with a fun Burning Man vibe. Here in West End, there is another annual hour-long fireworks display. Dangit, if i can find my keys in time, i’ll even give y’all a ride to any of the above.
Hey, why does everything end in “End” around here?

Make your own Twister. Drinking games (Pop in a CD of say, Mariah Carey and every time she says “baby” you have to drink.) Go for a midnight picnic bike ride. Take mind altering substances. Have a food fight. Take a bath together. Clean the house. (Okay, that’s not very fun, sorry). Download a bunch of sappy movies tonight and watch them. Have a Harry Potter Marathon.

Love the new template. Love that photo.

“End” and “Dicks”. Little Dicks Rd, Little Dicks Bay…

Skinny Dicks, Long Dicks, Fat Dicks (not really, but a girl can dream).

We may just take you up on that offer, Yuri! I’ll have to talk to the man and all, but it sounds like a good idea!

About

I'm Gillian, a Nova Scotian woman with a son named Ash (born 09/07) and a wife to Clive. I am what they call an Attachment Parent; I breastfeed, wear my baby as much as possible, cosleep, cloth diaper and practice elimination communication. I have very strong parenting views. We are raising Ash as an organic vegetarian. I care about the environment and do what I can to reduce my carbon footprint and set a good example for others, especially my child.

I'm proudly drug free, but can't say that I have always been. My early 20s were comprised mostly of travelling- I've lived and worked everywhere from West Africa to the Caribbean. I currently run AP Mamas, a site dedicated to attachment parenting and G Slings, my sustainable sling company.
