iPod Link

Posted by: typealice In: Daily| I <3 Clive| Links

First, let me say thank you to everyone who’s been worrying about Clive and his health. I didn’t really follow up on what his condition is (and I still wont), or how he’s we’re coping.

He’s doing okay. The medication seems to be working, slowly and surely, and our stress level is going down. Today he finds out if he’s going to be covered by insurance (PLEASE OH PLEASE GODS OF INSURANCE) and he’ll find out some biopsy and blood results too, if they’re back from the US Virgin Islands yet.

I’m on the brink of finishing the largest site I’ve ever worked on. It’s a redesign, and I don’t remember it taking this long last time I did it. I currently have 243 HTML pages, each one coded by me. Each page has a thumbnail and a larger picture to go along with it, almongst other images and descriptions and shopping cart code. This site has taken me months, working on it 5/7 days a week. It’s pure insanity. MAYBE, just MAYBE I can get it completed this weekend.

I found this link on another blog and had to share. I’ve been an Apple girl since I was 17, but have only ever owned one, and it was my pride and joy. It was well before iPods and iBooks and even before iMacs, which means that my Apple didn’t come looking slick and white and crisp. I enjoy their look, and found this video really funny.

About

I'm Gillian, a Nova Scotian woman with a son named Ash (born 09/07) and a wife to Clive. I am what they call an Attachment Parent; I breastfeed, wear my baby as much as possible, cosleep, cloth diaper and practice elimination communication. I have very strong parenting views. We are raising Ash as an organic vegetarian. I care about the environment and do what I can to reduce my carbon footprint and set a good example for others, especially my child.

I'm proudly drug free, but can't say that I have always been. My early 20s were comprised mostly of travelling- I've lived and worked everywhere from West Africa to the Caribbean. I currently run AP Mamas, a site dedicated to attachment parenting and G Slings, my sustainable sling company.
