Tomorrow is a big long road trip down to Leamington! We’re going to check it out to see if we want to live there. I’m definitely going to seek out the large tomato tourist information booth.
I love road trips with Clive because he’s such a good driver who doesn’t mind doing all the driving. I suck at driving (I get terribly nervous) and if I had my way, I’d never drive- especially not in cities or on big highways.
I hope we like it there. If we don’t, we’ll just have to start brainstorming again and come up with somewhere else to live. It’s very difficult to go from having your own car, your own apartment, two careers, your own stuff and your own life to spending the majority of your time in someone else’s parent’s (Clive’s) basement. I feel very misplaced and I can’t get into any stable routine. I find myself working at 11pm, and going to sleep at 2am. Our computers still sit next to one another, but this time, we’re sitting on the floor with them on a coffee table. The only reason I know it’s 9pm and not 9am is because of an alarm clock beside the TV.
Clive’s parents are very gracious in letting us stay here, because if it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t have anywhere to go! And that would suck.
