Kevin Smith and then some…

Posted by: typealice In: Daily| Links

About a month ago I found Kevin Smith’s blog. I spent a couple of hours one day reading about Jason Mewes’ (aka Jay of Jay and Silent Bob) UTTERLY FACINATING multi-part heroin addition struggle ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9]), but today, oh today, I spent ALL day (with a three hour break to visit the BalloonFest again and a falafel dinner) reading back-entries from 2005. I plan on continuing until bedtime. It’s better than watching the one fuzzy channel (currently featuring COPS, ugh) we get because we don’t have the cash to hook up cable yet, and Clive’s engorged himself with Titan Quest, leaving me to entertain myself. He totally deserves a day full of video games because he got a job on the third day of being in London! Good for him!

When i started reading, “He totally deserves a day full of video games…”, i thought to myself, “Whoa, this has GOT to be good!”, and read on with glee.

About

I'm Gillian, a Nova Scotian woman with a son named Ash (born 09/07) and a wife to Clive. I am what they call an Attachment Parent; I breastfeed, wear my baby as much as possible, cosleep, cloth diaper and practice elimination communication. I have very strong parenting views. We are raising Ash as an organic vegetarian. I care about the environment and do what I can to reduce my carbon footprint and set a good example for others, especially my child.

I'm proudly drug free, but can't say that I have always been. My early 20s were comprised mostly of travelling- I've lived and worked everywhere from West Africa to the Caribbean. I currently run AP Mamas, a site dedicated to attachment parenting and G Slings, my sustainable sling company.
