Tonight we’re off to the wedding of Nicole and Marc who are probably in the midst of wedding exitement and getting ready for the next big step in their committment to each other. Not to mention a fancy party tonight with lots of their friends. Congratulations, guys!
Clive’s at work, and I’ve got to start getting ready shortly, and pack up all of our stuff for the weekend. We’re going to spend the weekend away from London and spend Saturday in Toronto and Sunday fishing up North, hopefully. There are no definite plans yet, but that’s what we’re aiming for.
Clive’s sister is lending us her car, we got $40 worth of gas cards when we signed up for our cell phones, Clive’s wearing his suit, I bought a dress for $30 and opted out of spending $50 on getting my hair done, even though I really, really wanted to get it styled, so the trip isn’t costing us much, which is good. I got the job I wanted (yay!) and start on Monday. Clive’s still looking for something better, and until then, we’ll be working opposite shifts, and will only see each other for an hour a day. It makes me really sad. We really hope to have a relaxing weekend, full of fishing and swimming, because this will likely be the last weekend we have together of the summer.
