Travelling, Britney and KFed

Posted by: typealice In: Daily| Links

This week alone I’ve been invited to: visit my family in Nova Scotia, visit my best friend in New Orleans where she’s attending Tulane, visit my old BC home- Penticton, and my best friend from The Gambia sent me an invitation to visit him in San Fransisco.

If I could buy plane tickets to land in all of those places (and more places, while I’m at it!) and take a couple of months to visit everyone and travel again, I would. It’s so tempting! But instead, the hunt for a new job is in full force.

In other news, can I just mention that I was waiting for Britney and KFed to break up for, like, a year now? I do love celebrity blogs, and I laughed so hard when I read this sentence from The Superficial (one of the three celeb blogs I read daily):

As for money, the two have already signed a prenup, although Britney is waiving her right to spousal support. She’s also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney’s fees, which means when they show up in court Britney is gonna have her expensive celebrity lawyer and K-Fed is gonna have half a hot dog because he couldn’t afford the rest.

Any opinions on the divorce? Have you been keeping up on it? Really? Here’s another link telling readers that KFed found out about the divorce filing via text message. I didn’t like Britney until I saw her reality show about her and Kevin and realized what a train wreck her life had become. Celebrity gossip doesn’t get better than this.

I rarely get excited about celebrity gossip, but ever since I saw Britney high as a kite munching out with KFed like a mormom girl let loose in the sorority, I laughed my arse off. So this divorce? I give it a thumbs up!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen that clip!

Honestly, I think this divorce was a long time coming so it didn’t surprise me at all, but I did let out a shriek of happiness when I heard about it!

About

I'm Gillian, a Nova Scotian woman with a son named Ash (born 09/07) and a wife to Clive. I am what they call an Attachment Parent; I breastfeed, wear my baby as much as possible, cosleep, cloth diaper and practice elimination communication. I have very strong parenting views. We are raising Ash as an organic vegetarian. I care about the environment and do what I can to reduce my carbon footprint and set a good example for others, especially my child.

I'm proudly drug free, but can't say that I have always been. My early 20s were comprised mostly of travelling- I've lived and worked everywhere from West Africa to the Caribbean. I currently run AP Mamas, a site dedicated to attachment parenting and G Slings, my sustainable sling company.
