I Love the Fresh Prince

Posted by: typealice In: Daily| Gillian| Videos

Clive’s been making me watch the Rocky movies this weekend (we’ve watched the first two so far), and I’m subjecting him to the first season of The L Word. I think the first episode of season four starts tonight, along with The Apprentice, which I’m not so interested in watching now that he’s insulted Rosie so horribly lately as a horrible publicity stunt. What an asshole.

I stretched my tongue to 8 gauge this week. My goal is either 6 gauge or 4 gauge. I also downsized the length from 5/8″ to 1/2″ (not on purpose, but because there was an error on the supplier’s end: twice), and it feels much better than before, so that’s nice. On January 9, it’ll be eight entire years since I’ve had my tongue pierced.

….

This is one of my favorite videos on YouTube ever:

About

I'm Gillian, a Nova Scotian woman with a son named Ash (born 09/07) and a wife to Clive. I am what they call an Attachment Parent; I breastfeed, wear my baby as much as possible, cosleep, cloth diaper and practice elimination communication. I have very strong parenting views. We are raising Ash as an organic vegetarian. I care about the environment and do what I can to reduce my carbon footprint and set a good example for others, especially my child.

I'm proudly drug free, but can't say that I have always been. My early 20s were comprised mostly of travelling- I've lived and worked everywhere from West Africa to the Caribbean. I currently run AP Mamas, a site dedicated to attachment parenting and G Slings, my sustainable sling company.
