I hate this time of year when all of our regular television shows end. Goodbye Survivor, I wish that Yau-Man would have won. Goodbye America’s Next Top Model (season finale tonight), I really don’t care who wins because I’m not a fan of any of you. The L Word ended a couple of months ago, and it wasn’t a very good season either. The Apprentice is done (horah!) forever (double horah!). The Amazing Race, The Biggest Loser and reruns of Survivor Africa also ended a couple of weeks ago. Project Runway ended a long time ago, but IMO, should last all year long with back-to-back seasons. I love that show.
I nearly forgot about The Office, the only show that makes me laugh more than America’s Funniest Home Videos, is also coming to a close this week. Jim and Pam! What will happen between you two? THE AGONY!!!!!!
My god, we watch a lot of television. I think I’m making up for the fact that I never had cable until I was 19, and had a strict one hour/day rule growing up.
As far as I can tell, this summer will only offer Canada’s Next Top Model and Big Brother. CNTM seems so low budget compared to ANTM, and I wasn’t impressed with last year’s season. We download Australia’s Next Top Model, and most of the girls are under 18 and just annoy the piss out of me because they’re so immature. The UK version of The Apprentice is much better than the US version, and that is also coming to a close.
I guess we’ll just have to, like, spend more time outdoors or something! Pshaw! Plans are being made to go fishing for pike on the Toronto Islands with some of our favorite people on Sunday. I can’t wait!
