I’m better

Posted by: typealice In: Daily

I’m feeling better, thank goodness. Still on antibiotics, but I’m good.

I’m sewing every night to prepare for Mudder’s Day and selling my slings. When I’m not sewing I’m working on the website and soon will be making business cards.

The business name? G SLINGS! How genius. I wish I could take credit for it. Instead, it was Amanda. Thanks, Amanda!

We’re going to Georgia in two weeks, so I’m not sure how much you’ll hear from me in the next month. I’ll be around.

I apparently need to wake up a bit more before reading blogs. I could have sworn this said you were preparing for “selling your siblings”, and I wondered whether or not there was a good market for these things.

Upon re-reading and determining you were actually not talking about your family, I’d like to extend congratulations - for feeling better, for cool name, and for things sounding like they’re all going well (”busy” can be “well”, yes?).

About

I'm Gillian, a Nova Scotian woman with a son named Ash (born 09/07) and a wife to Clive. I am what they call an Attachment Parent; I breastfeed, wear my baby as much as possible, cosleep, cloth diaper and practice elimination communication. I have very strong parenting views. We are raising Ash as an organic vegetarian. I care about the environment and do what I can to reduce my carbon footprint and set a good example for others, especially my child.

I'm proudly drug free, but can't say that I have always been. My early 20s were comprised mostly of travelling- I've lived and worked everywhere from West Africa to the Caribbean. I currently run AP Mamas, a site dedicated to attachment parenting and G Slings, my sustainable sling company.
