You contracted Adult Onset Chicken Pox and your ex committed suicide the year you started a communist/socialist group….. What a fuggin’ year. I am guessing the pox got you after the stress of your friend’s death? I got it at 25, turning 26. My 26th B’day I had double pnuemonia from the pox holes in my lungs.

I assume when you lived on the lake and the well would run dry you also had to fetch and boil water? What a serious pain. Your parents sound pretty awesome.

That read facetiously. I really think it’s cool as cucumbers that your parents gave you such an authentic life experience.

Not only that, but I moved out of my parent’s house midway through grade 12 and into my own apartment with two boys, stopped speaking to my step father (and haven’t spoken to him since), became a pot head, my grades dropped a full 10% within a couple of months, started smoking cigarettes, came out as bisexual to my mom, had a 19 year old boyfriend who I had sex with all the time, skipped classes for the first time in my life, and nearly didn’t graduate because I failed math! Wow!

Oh, and the chicken pox I got over March break- so I spent the entire vacation cooped up and had my mother tie my hands behind my back with scarves so I wouldn’t scratch. The pox attacked mostly my face.

My ex committed suicide in early April.

Mine itched like crazy. I still have scars. Obviously the scarves didn’t do the trick!
