Ash’s First Time Skating

Posted by: typealice In: Baby|Family

Last weekend we achieved one of Clive’s parenting goals and took Ash ice skating with the strap-on skates you can buy at Canadian Tire. Both of them loved it. We didn’t stay out long because it was so cold, but Ash loved slipping on the ice. It was too cute.

Eep! Ash looks too cute on the ice!
Taking Finn skating (and ultimately teaching him to play hockey) is, I think, Steve’s biggest parenting goal as well. I’m fairly certain he won’t even be able to wait until next winter and will have to take Finn to the indoor rink in the summer :P

Yeah Boi!! I can see his jersey now. Ahh one of the greatest joys in Fatherhood. It sure looks cold that day.

That’s awesome :) I love skating with Ari, and I remember loving skating with my brother on the lake when we were kids.

Some of my earliest childhood memories are of us skating on our lake too!
