You look rad.
And is that one of Shannon’s paintings behind you?

Cool gear! You know, if you don’t want to go the leather pants route, Shift has jeans with Kevlar lining in the knees, hips and butt… assuming you don’t already have some.

Love this! My partner bought an old Honda motorcycle and the whole getup years ago but ended up not getting his license and selling the bike after a few months. It was beautiful, like a big metal cat. I still miss it. Enjoy!

Hey! You don’t know me but I’ve been reading you for a while (got here from Shannon at Zentastic). My son is two (and a few – November birthday), I’m on the attachment/boobery/Montessori kick, and I admire your craftyness. Actually, I admire the hell out of your moneymaking from your craftyness. Reading your honesty about your life and your child helps me get up and face another one of these crazy college/work/toddler days (and come home and quilt for sanity).
And I wanted to tell you that after reading about your motorcycle, I went out and about a Honda Rebel (my boyfriend insists they’re good bikes, and it was a massively good price, I like challenges, etc – but it’s yellow and older than me). I wasn’t all “Let’s be like this lady I don’t even know!” but I’d been wanting one for years, and it all sort of came together nicely, and I had some backup that I can have a toddler and be a responsible mom and own a motorcycle at the same time. So, yeah, hell yes and all that, and thanks for being awesome and blogging about it!
